Sam Quesada, 79, of Chicago, IL, formerly of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He was the beloved husband of Laura Judith (Ramirez) Quesada, to whom he was married on March 23, 2004.
Born August 18, 1938 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Jesus Quesada and the late Trinidad (Villanueva) Quesada.
Sam was the first Mexican-American Eagle Scout (5/19/1952) and graduate of Chicago Vocational High School (Class of 1956). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1961. Sam proudly and honorably served our country in both the United States Air Force and the Department of Energy. He later helped to develop home-hemodialysis treatment equipment at Becton Dickerson and worked for many years as a Quality Control Engineer at Brown & Sharpe, IEC Damon, and finally Larson Tool & Stamping Company in Attleboro, MA before retiring.
In addition to his wife, Laura, he leaves his loving children: Nancy Quesada, Vicki Pastore, and Angela Andrews, all of Chicago, IL; and Matthew and his wife Erin Quesada of Sharon, MA. He was an adoring grandfather to Ben, Aurora, Julia, Emily, Max, & Louie. Sam also leaves his brother, Ruben Quesada, of Orlando, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
